Can't Look Back is a quest in Legend of Mana.
Premise[edit]
Upon entering the Fieg Snowfields, the hero overhears Mephianse talking to himself about Nakratos, his long lost brother encased in ice. He then notices the traveller and warns him/her about the Faeries' treasure being a hoax and about the Ice witch turning him/her into a frozen corpse. He then proceeds to return to his students. the professor and his pupils are then seen at an camp site, with Mephianse telling his crew that they shoul pack their belongings as they are leaving. The Students are surprised by this sudden decision, as they were told they would search for the Faerie's treasure, but the seasoned teacher advise them that he values his life more than the treasure. Some of the Students tries to change his mind by telling him that he could try searching for his brother instead, which prompts the professor to tell about that Faerie treasure allowing people to meet the deceased, but perhaps it was through death his brother Nakratos was reunited with his wife. Mephianse suddenly has a change of heart and rushes alone in the snowfield without telling anyone his intentions. He is then seen meeting Crystalle the ice witch asking whether or not his brother is still alive. The frost maiden keeps telling him that he's alive, saying that he's the one telling everyone that she killed him. She then adds that to survive this brutal land, he had to became a snow monster and he's currently waiting for the Faeries at the Garden of Icicle Flowers where he intend to ambush and capture one. Mephianse wants to send him to the underworld to his wife, to which Crystalle agrees to let him pass. The main character finds and slay Nakratos under his beast form, allowing Mephianse's wish to come true. The hero is awarded the Rusty Anchor Artifact for his deed.
Solution[edit]
Place the Frozen Heart AF to the space directly below the Bone Fortress to create Fieg Snowfields. Enter Fieg Snowfields.
Head to area 13 on the map. Next, listen to the conversion and talk to Mephianse at the campfire. Finally, proceed to area 18 to fight the boss (Du'Mere).
