The Mythic Weapon Saga is a side quest in Visions of Mana. It is available after talking to Iain during chapter 10.

"The scholar Diem wishes to see the mythic weapons with his own eyes. No one alive today knows by whose hand they were forged, nor by what means, but the first step to revealing their secrets lies in finding them. Once you have collected all the mythic weapons, return to show them to Diem."
