Where Are You, Shiriu? is a side quest in Visions of Mana. It is the first chronogical side quest of the game and serves as a tutorial as it is mandatory to complete in the main story.

"Careena, a wind oracle, asks you to look for Shiriu. She has already searched the vale to no avail, so the next place to start looking is Aery Passage. Head there with Hinna and see if you can find him."

"Despite your best efforts, you couldn’t convince Careena to perform the wind dyeing ceremony. Her hopes of becoming an alm being dashed by her ineligibility might explain her reluctance. In an unexpected turn of events, you are asked to try your hand at the ritual. You headed to the dyeing stall to attempt to harness the power of wind."
Solution[edit]
Careena will ask the convoy to find Shiriu. Fortunately, he is not too far from the vale. The flagstick is just east of the entry to Longren, a windmill on a small hill. Talk to Shiriu, then hurry back to Careena.
