The Dune Maze is a location and dungeon in Sword of Mana. It's part of the arid region of Menos-Jadd at the south center of the world, and it's connected to the Jadd Desert through an interconnected system of caves. The protagonist arrives at this place once has solved the mystery of the sandfall.
Story[edit]
After the events at Devius Manor, the Hero or Heroine accompanied by Amanda or Bogard make their way through the desert labyrinth to search for the Altar of Time, a place built by the Mavoles according to some people information, where Lady Medusa and Lester have gone.
Once solving the mystery of the sandfall, the duo manages to continue on their way through the desert finding several obstacles such as sand rivers, sand whirlpools, physical attacks resistant enemies, mysterious switches puzzles, and other stuffs.
Halfway through in Jadd Desert, they found an impassable Stone Seal, then, heading to a nearby cave, they found a petrified Jinn surrounded by monsters. After defeating them, the spirit will be free and will thanks them, saying it has been petrified for many years, and as compensation it will join the team, thereby, they can destroy the seal to proceed.
When they reach the end of the desert, they enter the cave and activating the last switch, and returning to the sand rivers maze, the duo enters the secret cave at the top of the cliff where there was a cascade of sand, finally arriving at the Altar of Time.

- Elephant Tusk (In the cave with three moving walls, after pressing the north button, return to the location to press the south button and then the right one, then go all the way to the left)
