Menos is a location and settlement in Sword of Mana, it's village in the south center part of the world, accessible only after the events in the Airship. It's located between Prickly Desert which is on the south exit of the village, and Menos Outskirts which is on the north exit.

As the Hero

After the events of the Airship, the Hero falls from the sky near Menos and is rescued by a mysterious woman who takes him to her home.

Waking up in Menos Village, the woman is revealed to be Amanda who the Hero met back in the Arena.

Still injured from his fall, the Hero wonders what happened to the others, Amanda interrupts him, and trying to cheer him up, telling him how she escaped the Arena taking advantage of the mess caused by his escape.

Asking about Willy, Amanda reports to have seeing him be led away by soldiers and there was nothing she could do for him, but she thinks he's fine.

Shortly after, Amanda sends the protagonist to sleep and he fell almost immediately, having a nightmare with the Heroine been attacked, the Hero screams her name.

Seeing his condition worsen, Amanda worries, which it being implied that she also has feelings for him, but soon, Devius enters, and makes a deal with her to take care of the Hero.

In the morning, Amanda leaves the house apologizing to the Hero, and successively, the Heroine enters with Bogard.

As the Heroine

After the Airship crashes near the Menos Outskirts, the Heroine along with Bogard goes looking for the Hero.

Sequentially, as they arrive at Menos village, the Heroine is surprised to have a village in such a place. Soon, they overhear two villagers talking about Amanda taking an injured young man to her house, suspecting him to be the hero, she asks where she lives.

Going to the indicated house, she collides with someone leaving the house, who, after apparently recognizing her, leaves in a hurry. Then, the Heroine enters the house.

Both stories continuation

As the Heroine enters Amanda's house with Bogard, she is happy to see that the Hero is alive, soon he awakens up, and the Heroine reports him that it was Bogard who rescued her, in turn, the Gemma Knight tells that Cibba is fine, and then asks about the pendant.

The Hero sees that the pendant is gone, Bogard thinks it was stolen by Amanda, the girl who leaves the house when the Heroine was entering inside, but the Hero refuses to believe it and decides to go after her.

After walking through the village, he will hear the information that Amanda has going to Jadd. Returning to the house, the Hero reports to the others, and tells the two to go ahead to Jadd without him, as he will leave a note for Amanda if she returns. Soon after, the Heroine departs with Bogard, while the Hero goes alone to Jadd.
