Jadd Desert is a location and field area in Sword of Mana. It's part of the arid region of Menos-Jadd at the south center of the world, and connected to the northwest by Jadd, to the north by Miasma Glen, to Dune Maze through an interconnected system of caves, and finally, with Altar of Time to the east.
Story[edit]
After the first events at Devius Manor, the protagonist, the Hero or the Heroine, accompanied by a ally (Amanda or Bogard) make their way through the desert labyrinth to search for the Altar of Time, a place built by the Mavoles according to some people information, where Lady Medusa and Lester have gone.
Finding a dead end, they hear the rumor about a path behind the sand waterfall between two palm trees, so they follow the riddle clue made by one of the Jadd villagers (see Endless Walkway), thus being able to continue on their journey through the interconnected system of caves of Dune Maze.
Halfway through, after depetrifying Jinn in Dune Maze, the spirit joins them, thereby, they can destroy a stone seal to proceed.
When they reach the end of the desert, they enter the cave and activating the last switch, and returning to the sand rivers maze, the duo enters the secret cave at the top of the cliff where there was a cascade of sand, finally arriving at the Altar of Time.
Ending up all the events at Devius manor, the protagonist now need to go to Granz's Castle, heading through Miasma Glen.
