The Sealed Cave is a location and dungeon in Sword of Mana. It's situated in the most southwestern part of the world on a remote island, accessible only after the Ruined Passage event. It's connects to the west at the coast with Sealed Cave Armory.

Story[edit]

Following the clue given by Goremand in Ruined Passage, the Hero with the Heroine seach in the gloomy galleries of Sealed Cave the thing that will help them to break the magic barrier of its entrance to go to Dime Tower.

Deep on the east side of the cave, the protagonists find a stone monument with an epigraph, saying to decipher five warning to awake the old grave keeper, so the protagonists begin searching the cave.

After releasing the five switches, back to the stone monument scenery, examining it the protagonist wonders if this will give them a magical power. But suddenly, another inscription appears in red warning to not touch the relic seal or there will be serious consequences, even having a bad feeling about it, the main character decide to continue.

A voice echoes asking who to disturb the restful slumber, and condemns them to die, the protagonist tries defends themselves, but the voice challenges them, the cave quakes and soon a battle ensues.

After the battle, the voice congrats the duo, and knowing that they wanted to defeat Julius to protect the sanctuary gives them the key to Ruined Path, which is a dark spirit Shade.

The voice explain that the light without the darkness does not exist, since they are essencial opposites, thus to obtain the true light one must know darkness, and ask them to leave, and will disappear.

Shade will present itself, and soon will join us as the last spirit. Successively, with the key to their path, the protagonists return to their way.

  • Chocolump (From the entrance go east, then north up the stairs, west and south up the platform)
  • Moon Coin (Next to the previous one)
  • Shade Icon (From the entrance take the east exit, from there go east and north up the stairs, jump into the hole)
  • Angel Grail (North of the previous one)
  • Obsidian (Returning to the cave's entrance and taking the north exit, from there, following the path to the fork, head south and jump the east platform near the first switch)
  • Big Seed (East of the previous one)
  • Pedan Stone (From the previous, go west through the south exit, follow the path east and south passing a switch, it's in a corner half hidden by the wall)
  • Flat Seed (Back to the scenery with the fork, head the north exit, and again the north exit, in the next scene, head immediately to the east for a narrow hidden passageway, it's hidden by the walls)
  • Black Bone (From the previous one, follow to east exit up the plataforms, then head to the east)
  • Shade
