Miasma Glen is a dungeon in Sword of Mana. It's part of the arid region of Menos-Jadd at the south center of the world, and it's connected to the south by the Jadd Desert, and to the north by Cascade Cave. The protagonist cannot initially proceed in this area as it's all covered in a toxic purple fog, only later in the game.

Story[edit]

When the protagonist arrive with the ally in Miasma Glen for the first time through the desert, the place is all covered by a purple fog, suddenly they hear a mysterious voice saying to envy humans and all the living things, as this ones deserve to be deprived of life as they were.

The main character realised that the grudgies are make this toxic mist, so they will immediately get out of this place.

After defeating Devius in the Manor, and the events that followed, in a cutscene, Lester will dissipate the toxic fog by playing a song with Granz's lute that touched the hearts even of the dead ones, thereby, the protagonist can continue along this path to Granz's Castle, the Hero with Lester or the Heroine with Bogard.

After going through the entire route, arriving close to a waterfall, the duo leaves for Cascade Cave.

  • Long Seed (From the first scenery, go up the stairs and head to the north exit, next to the plant)
  • Holly Wood (From the previous one, following the path a little further on, close to the green structures)
  • Chocolump (At the top of the second scenery, taking a north path to the next one, follow to the left and jump the plataform below)
  • Angel Grail (At the top of the second scenery, taking a left path to the next one, heading west over a platform)
  • Gumdrop (From the previous one, go down and right back to first scenery, and go all way south)
