The Glass Desert is a location and field area in Sword of Mana. It's part of the Ishe Desert region at the westside of the world, being a vast desert that is divided into two parts with the city of Ishe in the center, which in the southern portion it's connects with Glass Desert Armory by a Hot House scenery, and through the northern portion connects with Ruined Passage.

Story[edit]

After the events in Granz's Castle, the Hero and Heroine are rescued in the desert, and the protagonist wakes in Ishe surronded by his/her friends.

Talking with Cibba, they discover that the Mana Sword sleeps inside the Subsea Volcano, the Hero decided to travel there to take the sword with Lester, while the Heroine joins Willy to go there too.

Cibba also tells the protagonist, that the volcano is beyold the kingdom of Lorimar, and asked to bring the sword to him, while he and Bogard waits in Ishe.

So the duo travels through the desert to find a way to the kingdom crossing high platforms in the south and through ravines in the north,

To go to the north, the protagonist must travel at night when in the middle of the ravines a luminescent bridge is revealed, but the Ruined Passage is closed at this point in the game, so they must head south.

Later in the game, after retrieving the rusty Mana Sword, the Hero and Heroines join forces and decide to head to the Mana Sanctuary via the Dime Tower through the Ruined Passage to the north.
