The Mana Stone Researcher, also known as the Mana Stone Scholar, is a minor NPC in Trials of Mana.

Trials of Mana[edit]
The party encounters the Mana Stone scholar in the time-shifted Ancient Capital of Pedda. He claims to have spent countless hours researching for the Darkstone's location and have concluded that the stone might be in one of the three locations depending on who is the Chosen:
- If Duran or Angela is the main character, the researcher will tell them the stone could be around Dragonsmaw, most likely around the Crystal Desert.
- If Kevin or Charlotte is the main character, the scholar will direct them to the Jungle of Visions just west of Pedda.
- If Hawkeye or Riesz is the main character, the Mana scholar will reveal the stone to be inside the Night Cavern, north of Laurent on Light Castle Island.
