The Bruiser is a minor NPC and boss in Trials of Mana.

Trials of Mana[edit]
With Duran competing in the sword mastery tournament, youth division in his opening gambit, the Bruiser takes up the challenge of being his first opponent. But, as he does every tournament, Bruiser talks a big game and then falls to Duran.
In the HD remake, speaking to him after the Altenish invasion in Chapter 1 grants the party the Personal Style Chain Ability.
Should the player start the post-game Chapter 7 with Duran in the party, he can challenge the Bruiser again during the first round of the sword master tournament.

- The Bruiser has the same appearance as the Copper Knight enemy.
