A mushboom is an enemy in Trials of Mana, typically found on grasslands as well as in dense forests or subterranean caves. Often half-buried in the ground with only their cap showing, these fungi pop out of their hideout upon sensing their opponent nearby, moving at great speed. They sport fluorescent orange spots at night. They usually attack by ramming into the player characters or by spinning around on their cap, but can also put character to sleep with their Sleep Spore attack if in range.
