A Ape is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.
Overview[edit]
The Ape can be found in the area around the Crooked Boulder. It boasts strong attack and defensive power and can become a nuisance in tight corners since it also moves quickly. However, it only attacks by colliding with the hero and can easily be taken down with the Axe. It grants average experience and gold on defeat, so players could opt to avoid them.
In Adventures of Mana, Apes are a bit bigger and move faster than before.
