The Red Dragon is a boss in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.
Overview[edit]
The Red Dragon comes after the Dragon and prevents Sumo from reaching the Temple of Mana Corridor. In the original Game Boy installment, the Dragon loops around the arena counterclockwise with some zigzags when on the lower side. It hurls down explosions at the protagonist while doing so.
In Adventures of Mana, the Red Dragon is pretty much the same fight as the Dragon. It tries to follow Sumo from a distance. It swipes its claws at him if close enough and will spit three fire balls if he’s too far. The whole arena will shake with each of the Red Dragon’s steps. Defeating it will reward the player with the Red Dragon Destroyer achievement.
