A Mimic is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.
Overview[edit]
The Mimic is a regular enemy found in many dungeons throughout the game, debuting in the Forbidden Mines. It slowly moves around by leaping into the air and bashes its head onto Sumo to deal damage. Colliding into this enemy may inflict the blinded status. It has average stats but is quickly found among the weakest enemies in later dungeons. The experience given after its death is abysmal, but the money amount is good for the early game. It also has a chance of dropping a Gold Dust item.
In Adventures of Mana, the Mimics behave the same but do lower and shorter leaps.
