A Mandrake is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.
Overview[edit]
The Mandrake is a sentient root vegetable found around Westlake. It can bury itself underground to avoid attacks and send shockwaves to its opponents. It has high attack and good amount of HP, but pitiful defense, making it easy to destroy with one Axe swing. Its experience and money yield is decent, but nothing to write home about.
In Adventures of Mana, Mandrakes are less aggressive and doesn’t move as much.
