A Phantasm is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.
Overview[edit]
The Phantasm is a fiendish face appearing in multiple dungeons in the game, starting with the Crooked Boulder. It hovers slowly around the screen and attacks by sending an energy ball at Sumo, potientially turning him into stone or into a Moogle in addition to dealing damage. Defeating it rewards the player with good experience and Gold pieces. It may also have a chance of dropping a Hi-Ether upon defeat.
In Adventures of Mana, Phantasms only attack if they spot Sumo.
