A grell is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana. In Final Fantasy Adventure, they are capable of camouflaging themselves by turning invisible until hit by an attack. Players should be weary of their poisonous touch. They are very slow otherwise and be easily eliminated.
Overview[edit]
The little squid monster is commonly found in the Marshes and in Crooked Boulder. Its movement pattern varies, making it a bit unpredictable, but it can easily be slain with any kind of weapon. Players should be weary of its poison touch, however. Like its Green Slime cousin, it can blend into the background from being see-through. It is weak to lightning attacks and can also leave candies upon defeat.
In Adventures of Mana, is less active and moves at a much slower pace. It is also no longer transparent, making it easier to spot.
