A land leech is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana. They hover around, slowing down and speeding up in an unpredictable manner. They can poison Sumo on contact.
Overview[edit]
This flying leech is encountered inside the Marsh Cave and in Kett Manor. It has very high speed and good attack power, making it rather troublesome when first sighted in the cave. It body hit can even poison Sumo. However, it has low resistance to lightning attacks and gives out good experience and money. The Land Leech can even leave out Mattocks upon defeat.
In Adventures of Mana, the Land Leech is now much slower, making it easier to target.
