This article is about Golem from Final Fantasy Adventures & Adventures of Mana. For the general species, see Golem.

The Golem is a boss in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.

Overview[edit]

The Golem is the last line of defense before reaching the Dark Lord’s lair. Its tough exterior repels most attacks, and only the Morningstar held by the Cyclops can penetrates its defenses. It leaves the Book of Thunder behind when slain.

In the original Game Boy installment, the Golom follows a simple W path, but it can punch the protagonist by tackling him in a straight line.

In Adventures of Mana, the Golem follows Sumo from a safe distance, circling around him, only coming close when attacking. It will fire a laser on a short distance after sustaining enough damage. Defeating it will reward the player with the Golem Grinder achievement.

Description
Golems are human-shaped creations made of mud, clay, or stone. They're turned alive through the use of magic words that mean "god" or "life". Because they're inorganic, artificial life forms, they lack intelligence. These statues are said to grow day after day and can reach enormous sizes.
