A mushboom, originally known as a myconid, is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana. They are the weakest enemy of the game, wandering the area and only harming Sumo by collison. They have the distinction of being the only enemy to drop the Athena's Kiss item (Will in Final Fantasy Adventure).
Overview[edit]
This walking mushroom is one of the weakest enemies and one of the first foes encountered in the game. It moves relatively quickly but deals low damage to Sumo on collision and has extremely low defense, often dying in one hit. It is also weak to Axes and can yield either an Ether or the rare Athena's Kiss after death.
In Adventures of Mana, the Mushboom is now much slower.
