A Tarantula is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana. They throw webbing at Sumo and can poison him on contact.
Overview[edit]
The Tarantula is a common enemy located in the Forbidden Mines and in Gaia Pass. It is a weak monster that has low speed and defense power that can shoot its webbing at the hero. The web can poison him, and even touching the spider can inflict this status crisis. It yields average experience and Gold pieces upon defeat and doesn’t drop any items.
In Adventures of Mana, Tarantulas now move at moderate speed.
