A Wererat is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana. They charge at Sumo, potentially inflicting poison.
Overview[edit]
Wererats are giant bipedal rats roaming Kett Manor, Glaive Castle, and the Subterranean River. It is quite fast and can walk through certain obstacles. It has thankfully weak stats overall and can be quickly taken down with the Dragon Buster. Touching it can poison Sumo, however. Defeating it may reward the player with a Potion.
In Adventures of Mana, Wererats still move at a brisk pace in the four cardinal directions, but no longer bypass obstacles.
