A Tortoise Knight is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.
Overview[edit]
The Tortoise Knight is a bipedal turtle that roams the Floatrocks and the Temple of Mana. It periodically hides in its shell then slowy moves around the area. It can attack Sumo by throwing a harpoon at it. It has low stats compared to the other enemies on Floatrocks but has surprisingly good defense power. Using lightning-elemental attacks at it is very effective. Defeating it rewards the player with good amount of Gold pieces with a chance of obtaining a Hi-Potion.
In Adventures of Mana, Tortoise Knights are bigger and move about the same speed as before. They do not hide in their shell anymore. On their backs is a smiley made of two stars and a moon.
