Candies, named Gumdrops in some games, are basic recovery items in the Mana series. They make their first appearance in Final Fantasy Adventure. They restore a bit of HP to a character. Throughout their appearances, Candies are consistently depicted as round-shaped and covered in wrapping, the color of which differs between appearances but generally has a shade of pink. However, their Final Fantasy Adventure artwork depicts them as transparent and without wrapping.

The player can activate only one at a time. In the Adventures of Mana remake, Candy has the same role as in the original version.
