Damage caculation[edit]

The following calculation is done when estimating Healing Light's effectiveness in the 2D version.

  • Step 1: Base Power = 25 * Spell's MP Cost + Magic Power
  • Step 2: Magic Power = Spell Power * Caster's SPRT stat
  • Step 3: Base Damage = Magic Power + Base Power
  • Step 4: Final Damage = Damage * Character Modifier

Character modifiers correspond to an assigned level to each and every enemy and party member in the game: Level 1 Targets (Base character classes): 0.5 Level 2 Targets (First class change): 0.75 Level 3 Targets (final class change): 1.0

Being aligned with Lumina, Healing Light is not affected by day/night stat modifier.

Possibly due to a bug or a programing oversight, Healing Lights potency is lowered the higher the MAG DEF in the 2D version.

As for the 3D version, Healing Light is the only move in the game that scales with the user's SPRT stat. Its item equivalent the Poto Oil basically functions the same way as Healing Light +. The actual healing potency can be increased with several abilities, like "Close Call" and "Recovery". "Heal CS Boost" gives the user (5%/8%/10%) for every party member they restores the HP of. For instance, if Duran has "Heal CS Boost II" equipped, and uses "Healing Light +" on all three party members, he gains 24% CS gauge, or 36% with "Nature Aura". The ability also works for healing items. As with the 2D version, the day/night cycle doesnt play a role it the move's potency.

Below is the equation followed by damage healed by the move and Poto Oil. Healing = User's SPRT * 3.2

Visions of Mana[edit]
