Sumo, also known as the Boy, is the protagonist of Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana. Originally an enslaved gladiator of the Glaive Empire, the crimson-clad youth is thrust into a quest to protect the sacred Tree of Mana from his overseers and thereby honor the last wishes of his fellow gladiator and close friend Will.
