Sheex is a minor antagonist in Secret of Mana and a recurring character in the Mana series..
Background
He is a Dark Knight with vicious, bloodthirsty and vengeful tendencies. Not much is known about his background except that, like Emperor Vandole, he wants to get his hands on the Mana Fortress.
History
Secret of Mana
- “The third of Emperor Vandole's generals. Sheex is the emperor's trusted underling, known for his skills in stealth and incursion. He possesses a power that turns him into an Aegagropilon.”

Randi, Primm and Popoi first meet him in the Empire's Imperial Palace along with Emperor Vandole and the other two generals Geshtar and Fanha. He escapes with his crew, leaving only Geshtar to fight the heroes.
He is seen later in Tasnica, where he kidnapped and impersonated the Chancellor to topple the country from the inside and get rid of the Empire's major obstacle towards world domination. The party foil his schemes and he attacks them under the shape of the Dark Stalker, but he is swiftly defeated. Still, his identity is not revealed until the next meeting.
Sheex makes his final appearance at the Mana Palace after Emperor Vandole and his generals have broken the magic barrier preventing any outsiders from encroaching inside. As the emperor leaves to break the seal on Dryad's Mana Seed, Sheex stays behind and attempts to finish off Randi and his party by fighting them in his underworld form known as the Aegagropilon. Upon defeat, Sheex laments his loss before finally dying.
