The blurb describes Angela and her companions being spotted by Altenish troops in Stonesplit Gap during chapter I in Trials of Mana. While heading to Valsena to inquire about the earth Mana Stone's whereabouts, the party is stopped on a bridge and are forced to fight a pair of Machine Golem R.
