The Academy teacher coldy answers that he could be petrified if he looks into her eyes for too long, as she is part basilisk. Unaffected by her warnings, the hopeless romantic keeps serenading the lady, who decides to walk away, saying that he has to find her students who are boycotting class. Noticing the protagonist eavesdropping on them, Gilbert asks him/her to convince the Students to go back to school. After listen to and being understanding of all Students's problems regarding school, Gilbert and Kathinja are seen discussing about the pupils returning to their desks. While the centaur is expecting Kathinja to thank him, the professor simply bids him farewell and proceeds to rejoin her students. The poor sap tries to get her to go on a date after her class, but Kathinja retorts he's annoying and to leave her alone, threatening to turn him to stone if he keep pestering her. The spoony ministrel is then darted with a petrifying beam after another romantic plea.

Elle explains that she doesn't want to sink anymore ships, to which Flameshe quips by saying that humans do whatever they want on land, and act as they own the sea, even though they were here first. The two suddenly start hearing a melodious voice coming from outside the birdcage. Elle recognizes it as Gilbert's and is surprised to see him going out of his way to meet her. The siren accompanies the main character to go outside, but the infatuated centaur interprets her move as if she wanted to see him. She has no other choice but to sing in front of the crew, making the whole ship on the brink of collapsing. This attract a giant sea creature who attacks the protagonist. After slaying the beast, Elle and Gilbert are seen ambushed by Pirate Penguins accusing her of trying to sink the ship. The weakened centaur implores her love interest to fly away, but the siren refuses as her would meet a dire end should he be left alone. Cap'n Tusk tells his men to cease any rudeness. He tries to reason his crew to let the lady live as she is not the cause of their impending doom, but it is because of their combined spirit that they are alive. He dares the siren to sing again so he can prove to his underlings that their spirit can prevent any sea disaster. As Elle starts to voice her melodious air, the ship is once again violently shaken from left and right. Despite all the breaches and tremors, the vessel is able to stay afloat during Elle's song, proving that the Pirate Penguins can team up efficiently.
