Aerial[edit]
Japanese name: 鳥 (Bird)
Aerial monsters typically dawn bird-like features in their design, such as wings, feathers, beaks and/or talons. Most are also capable of flight and hover around the overworld. Enemies associated with this type are overwhelmingly associated with the wind element and thus are weak against Gnome attacks.
Amorphous[edit]
Japanese name: 不定形 (Amorphous)
As their name would suggest, amorphous creatures have round, soft and often gelatinous bodies. These make them resistant to physical attacks and in turn weak to elemental moves.

Animal[edit]
Japanese name: 獣 (Beast)
Enemies with the animal type are exhibit common features found in mammals and other four-legged beasts, such as fur, fangs, whiskers, etc. Some of them however, more closely resemble their real-life counterparts. Most animal-type monster either have no elemental affinity or resist earth attacks.
Aquatic[edit]
Japanese name: 水棲 (Aquatic)
Aquatic monsters resemble their sea-dwelling counterparts in appearance and thus can be found near bodies of water all around Qi'Diel. The vast majority of enemies with this type are strong against Undine attacks and fear fire moves.

Cryptids are a unique breed of enemies who doesn't fit common features compared to others monster types aside from their odd appearance and emphasis on their eyes. All of them have affinities for Luna or Lumina.

Demi-human[edit]
Japanese name: 亜人 (Demi-human)
Monsters belonging to the demi-human type usually stand upright and possess some characteristics attributed to humans, such as clothing or wielding weapons, but still retain animal parts in their design. This type holds the most monsters and therefore is extremely diverse when it comes to elemental affinities.
Fiend[edit]
Japanese name: 悪魔 (Devil)
Fiend-type monsters often sport demonic attire such as horns, bat wings, and long fangsw while some others are possessed by malevolent spirits. The majority are aligned with darkness and are weak to Lumina moves.

Insect[edit]
Japanese name: 昆虫 (Insect)
Insect enemies have bug elements in their designs like antennae, exoskeletons, multiple legs, etc. An important part of this group is strong against Dryad while a sizeable portion are aligned with the earth elemental. Most of them are weak to strike attacks.
Magicali[edit]
Japanese name: 魔法生物 (Magical Creature)
Magicali monsters are the result of a spirit inhabiting an inanimated object. The host may be made of any material, such as rock, metal or wood. Some robotic enemies may be found in this category.
