The Shape Shifter is a recurring enemy in the Mana series.

An amorphous mass animated by an unseen force, the shape shifter is renowned for its ability to study and transform into any living creature it has observed or had contact with, also inheriting its vital statistics, skills, resistances, and weaknesses upon transformation. Because these monsters also carry rare items in some cases, the player must defeat them before they transform in order to pick up their rare items.
