The class-change item for Riesz to access class 4, the Sage Sphere is exclusive to the HD remake and can be obtained by defeating Shadow Angela in the Labyrinth of Ice after talking to Grand Croix post-game. The key item must be in the party's possession to activate the Mystic Queen or Spellbinder class selection in Class 4.
It has no outside effect like any other Class 4 items.
