As they reappeared in ''[[Legend of Mana]]'' their design was changed to a green or reddish serpent with long flowy eyebrows and a rattle at the end of their tail. The green variant stuck ever since and even ''[[Adventures of Mana]]'', FFA's remake, incorporated some of its designs in it depiction. Like real venomous snakes, Cobras and Boas from the ''Mana'' franchise usually attack by biting their enemies or by inflicting the [[Poison (status)|poison]] status effect.

The Cobra, also known as Great Boa or Rattler Boa, is a recurring enemy in the Mana series. They are poisonous snakes often living in arid areas, like their real life counterpart.

General Information

Physical Description

When first introduced in Final Fantasy Adventure, Cobras where smiply depicted as yellow skinned snakes with red underside. As they reappeared in Legend of Mana their design was changed to a green or reddish serpent with long flowy eyebrows and a rattle at the end of their tail. The green variant stuck ever since and even Adventures of Mana, FFA's remake, incorporated some of its designs in it depiction. Like real venomous snakes, Cobras and Boas from the Mana franchise usually attack by biting their enemies or by inflicting the poison status effect.
