Petrify, also known as Petrified, is a recurring status aliment in the Mana series.

Effect

Secret of Mana

Called petrified status in Secret of Mana and petrify status in Secret of Mana HD, this aliment transforms the afflicted into a stone statue, making unable to imput command. Should all playable characters by petrified, the player gets a Game over.

The aliment can be removed either by casting Remedy or using a Medical Herb.

Here is a list of enemies that can inflict petrify to characters.

• Buffy (boss)
• Dark Lich (boss)
• Doom Sword
• Dragon Worm (boss)
• Eggatrice
• Gorgon Bull (boss)
• Master Ninja

Here are the accessories the player can wear to become immune to petrify.

• Golem Ring
• Amulet Ring

There is only one spell that Primm can use to inflict petrify to enemies.
